Meet the Fam

I love me some laughing with my baby!
Angie
Those baby blues get me.
I get to be a stay-at-home mom for Emmett.  This truly is my dream job.  In my pre-baby days, I worked at a group home for people with disabilities (ACR Homes, Inc) and in the Bloomington School District as a paraprofessional in a classroom with kids with Autism.  I really liked both of those jobs, but I love being with Emmett all day.

I am what I call a social introvert.  Big groups and new people intimidate me, but I'm pretty outgoing with my friends.  I much more enjoy being one on one or in a smaller group setting than a big party.  I'm super loyal and I try to be a good friend.

I've loved being a wife for many years and the new transition into being a mother has been a great one as well.  Sometimes days get long, but there's really no place I'd rather be than home with Emmett.  Often I am just staring at him, thinking about how much I love him.

Ethan
My love.  We have been married since August 5th, 2006, together since 2004.  I found a really great guy to marry and I like him more each year.  He is a great father and I can't wait to watch his relationship with Emmett (and any other kids we have) in the coming years.

Ethan is the Athletic Trainer at Bloomington Kennedy high school and the main photographer of our business, Fourth Avenue Photography.  He is excellent at both of his jobs.  He is so creative and such a people person.

Ethan is also the Faith leader of our family.  It's been so cool watching his faith journey throughout our relationship.  I'm thankful to have a true leader guiding our family.

Emmett
My baby love.  Emmett was born on September 1st, 2012.  He is such a joy, with a ready smile for everyone.  He has Ethan's laid-back personality and is a big hit with all our family and friends.  He makes up a big part of my life, as I'm with him all day.

and tongue just make me giggle

He seems to be growing up very quickly and I don't like how fast the baby time is going by.  I do think that it is cool to think that it wasn't that long ago that he was born and couldn't do much but eat, sleep and potty.  He's such a champ.

BFFs

Libby
One of the best dogs ever.  She is a pit bull mix and she is great.  Pit bulls used to be nanny dogs, and Libby definitely shows those qualities.  If we leave Emmett on the floor and leave the room, Libby will be laying down near him when we come back.  She is very gentle with kids, and is figuring out (somewhat) that she isn't supposed to lick Emmett.  We fostered Libby through the Twin Cities Pet Rescue, and we are always so thankful that we adopted her.
